Description
When I was ten, I used to go up in the attic and paint on the trusses and insides of the roof. Now I deliver Meals on Wheels to the elderly who live at home alone. A roof is protection but concealment from the world. Art attempts to break through but cannot see the clear blue sky. This painting won a Merit Award in the All Florida Art Competition and Exhibition 2013, Boca Art Museum, Boca Raton, Florida.
